Menstrual health is a critical, and often overlooked, component of educational equity. Dominion Rescue Foundation’s comprehensive approach integrates infrastructure, behavior change, and culturally relevant curriculum to transform both the physical and social environment around menstruation. By engaging peers, teachers, families, and community stakeholders, the model helps reduce stigma while strengthening student confidence and participation. This ecosystem approach demonstrates how WASH programs can move beyond infrastructure alone to support long-term learning outcomes and gender equity.
