Sports 4 Development Program (S4D)

Sports 4 Development Program (S4D)

Dominion Rescue Foundation (DRF) has identified best practices in sports for development. The programme encompasses a series of active sports for development sessions that imbue participants with sports values and vital life skills like communication, teamwork, and leadership. Aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, such as gender equality and social inclusion, these principles permeate every aspect of the programme.

Our programme is meticulously tailored to cater to a community’s specific development needs, comprising both the new Dominion Rescue Foundation (DRF) e-learning online platform and face-to-face sessions led by Dominion Rescue Foundation (DRF) master coaches.

Delivered by expertly trained coaches and occasionally aided by young programme advocates and community leaders, participants leave the sessions equipped with enhanced life skills, values, and knowledge to forge their future and better their communities.

The Dominion Rescue Foundation (DRF) sports for development programme goes beyond traditional athletic training by fostering holistic personal growth. Each session is designed to encourage critical thinking, resilience, and ethical decision-making, allowing participants to navigate challenges both on and off the field. Through structured activities, young people learn to set goals, manage emotions, and develop self-confidence, creating a foundation for lifelong success.

By integrating our innovative e-learning platform, participants gain access to interactive modules, virtual workshops, and resources that reinforce lessons learned during face-to-face sessions. This blended learning approach ensures continuity, flexibility, and inclusivity, enabling learners from remote and underserved communities to engage fully with the programme.
